How do I add a product?

Go to Products in the dashboard and click "Add Product". Enter the product URL, optionally upload images, and enable "Auto-scrape images from URL" to have Larven pull images from your product page automatically. You can also bulk import products via a CSV/XLSX file or a Google Sheets URL using the Bulk Import option.

My videos or images are not being generated

First make sure you have at least one product added with images, and that your credit balance is sufficient (check Settings -> Credits). If a generation starts but never arrives in Library, try refreshing - processing can take a few minutes. If the issue persists, contact support with the brand name and the type of content you were generating.

Where can I see my generated assets?

All finished videos and images land in the Library (sidebar icon). There you can browse by folder, filter by type (video clips, final video ads, static image ads), search, and download.

Single clips (UGC, UGC Hook, Product Animation, etc.) are saved under Library -> Video Clips, not the main Library view. If an asset was just generated it may still be processing - wait a moment and refresh.

How do I create a video or image?

Click Create in the top of the sidebar. Step 1 picks the content type (image or video). Step 2 picks the subtype:
  • Images: Product Hero, Lifestyle, Offer First, Social Proof, Problem Solution, and more
  • Videos: Commercial (full multi-scene), UGC, UGC Hook, Reaction, Animation, Podcast, Explainer, and more
Step 3 selects the product(s) and lets you write a Scene Guideline to steer the output. Some flows have an additional Step 4 for actor selection. Hit Generate when ready.

To create a final video ad (not just a single clip), use the "Commercial" or "Idea" type, or clone an ad from a competitor in the Explore tab.

How do I suggest or guide what kind of video or image to generate?

Use the Scene Guideline field that appears in Step 3 of the create wizard (accessible via the settings icon at the bottom of the product selection step). Write a short description of the visual style, mood, setting, product placement, and what to avoid - for example "bright outdoor lifestyle shot, product clearly visible in model's hand, no dark backgrounds".

The more specific the guideline, the more on-brand the result. This is the most effective way to reduce AI hallucinations (e.g. incorrect hands, product not appearing) and get consistent output.

How do I combine video clips into a final video ad?

Go to Library -> Video Clips, select two or more clips, and click "Video Editor" at the bottom. From there you can reorder or replace clips and add a new voiceover. This is also the best way to skip any clips with AI errors (e.g. wrong product, extra hands) without regenerating everything.

How do I edit a generated video?

Currently you cannot edit specific elements within a clip using prompts (this feature is coming soon). Edit the video with:

Right-click the video in Library and select "Open in editor", then re-edit the clips - skipping any bad clips.

Or right-click the video in Library and select "Recreate video", then describe the change in the Scene Guideline field. Note: this generates a completely new video and may change other elements too.

How do I scrape competitor ads?

Open Explore in the sidebar. In the Ads Explorer section click the sparkle "Auto-find" button to let Larven automatically discover and save competitors for the selected brand. You can also search for a brand or Meta page manually, view their live ads, and save any page as a competitor. To clone a competitor ad, click the Recreate button on the ad - Larven will use it as inspiration and generate a new creative for your brand.

How do I get more variety in my generated creatives?

If creatives look too similar, try the following:
  1. Expand your brand description in Settings -> Brands with more detail: tone of voice, target audience, unique value proposition, pain points, and what makes your product different.
  2. Use the Scene Guideline field to give specific instructions for each generation.
  3. On the Create page, try different ad types (e.g. Social Proof, Problem Solution, Offer First) - each produces a very different style.
  4. Clone a competitor ad from the Explore tab as a starting point.

How do credits work?

Credits are consumed each time you generate content. Your subscription plan includes a fixed number of credits per billing period. Monthly subscription credits expire at the end of each billing period and do not roll over. Top-up credits never expire and are used after your monthly credits.

You can view your current balance and full usage history in Settings -> Credits.

I cannot connect billing or add a payment method

Go to Settings -> your organization -> Billing. Click "Add payment method" and complete the Stripe card form. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.

Note: Prepaid cards (e.g. Paysera, PaySafe) are not supported by Stripe for recurring payments. Please use a regular debit or credit card from a standard bank account.

If the form does not appear, check that your browser is not blocking third-party scripts (Stripe loads externally). If you see a "Missing Stripe key" error, contact support.

How do I connect Meta or TikTok ad accounts?

Go to Settings -> your organization and open the Meta or TikTok section. Follow the OAuth login flow to authorize Larven. Once connected, your ad accounts appear in Marketing -> Meta Ads or Marketing -> TikTok Ads, where you can create and manage campaigns directly from the dashboard.

How do I upload ads to Meta from the Library or Ads Manager?

If your creative already exists in Library, select one or more assets and use the "Publish Ads" action in the bottom toolbar. Larven gives you two options: Create new campaign or Add to existing campaigns/ad sets.

Inside Marketing -> Meta Ads, you can also start from Ads Manager by creating a new campaign directly, duplicating an existing campaign, adding a new ad set, or adding a new ad into an existing ad set.

How do I set up social media posting?

Go to larven.ai/dashboard/social and connect your Facebook and Instagram accounts.
  • Auto-publish OFF: posts go into "Awaiting Approval" status. You review and approve each post before anything goes live. Recommended for new users.
  • Auto-publish ON: the AI publishes posts automatically on your behalf.
To add a specific asset to a scheduled post, use the "Replace from Library" button on each post, or select from Library when creating a new post. If the asset is on your computer, upload it to Library first.

How do I set up the AI CMO?

Go to larven.ai/dashboard/cmo. The AI CMO creates a Meta ad campaign (on your ad account or Larven's managed account) and tests new creatives every day automatically. It also tests different audiences and predicts what should perform best.
  • You can manually turn off any ad you do not like at any time.
  • For new Meta Business accounts with no pixel: select "I don't have a pixel on my site" to use Larven's pixel instead.
  • Recommended minimum budget: €20/day for meaningful data.
Fee structure:
  • Own ad account: Free (Pro plan) or 12% of ad spend (Starter plan)
  • Larven's managed account: 12% of ad spend on both plans (5.5% payment provider fee + 6.5% implementation and support fee)

How do I add a promotion or sale to the Marketing Calendar?

Go to Marketing -> Calendar and create a new offer. Required fields: Title, Offer details, Start date, End date. The AI CMO will automatically factor the promotion into creatives and scheduling for that period.

To use a specific existing asset in a promotion, go to Library, select the asset, and click "Publish Ads" at the bottom to add it to an existing campaign or ad set manually.

How do I set the language for my creatives?

You can choose the language while you create ads, and translate ads in Library with right-click and "Translate".

For easier use: Go to Settings -> Brands and scroll to Default Languages. Set your primary language and any additional languages. The primary language will be used for all image and video generation.

Almost all languages are supported. Note that some less common languages may produce varying quality depending on the AI model used.

When does billing start and will I be charged today?

Your workspace starts on a 7-day trial for free, which includes 1,000 credits (worth around €100). Once the trial ends, the subscription plan bills automatically at the regular rate. You can cancel anytime before renewal from Settings -> Billing.

What is the refund policy?

Refunds are available within 3 days of the charge date. After 3 days, refunds are not possible as credits have already been allocated. The trial fee is non-refundable once trial credits have been used.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to Settings -> Billing -> Subscription and click the "Manage Subscription" button. If you experience any issues cancelling, contact [email protected] and we will cancel it manually.

What if something looks broken or data seems missing?

Refresh the page and confirm the correct organization and brand are selected from the top of the sidebar. Many views are scoped to the active brand. If the issue remains, contact [email protected] with your organization name, the page you were on, and a brief description of what happened.
