How do I edit a generated video?

Re-edit the clips in the Video Editor for free-form fixes, or use Recreate with an updated Scene Guideline (priced per second) for a new version.

You can't yet edit specific elements inside a clip with a prompt (that's coming). Today there are two paths:

  • Open in editor, right-click the video in Library → Open in editor. Reorder, remove, or replace clips (great for skipping a scene with an AI error) and change the voiceover. Editor changes like this are the cheapest way to fix a video.
  • Recreate video, right-click → Recreate video and describe the change in the Scene Guideline field. This generates a new video, so other elements may change too. Recreation is priced per second of output (8 credits/s on Starter, 7 on Pro).

To change only the script or voiceover: use the editor to add a new voiceover instead of recreating the whole video, it's a fraction of the cost. If a mispronunciation is the problem, see Fixing common AI errors.
