Yes, automatically. Credits are deducted when a generation starts; if the job fails, the deduction is reversed to the same credit pool it came from. You'll see both the deduction and the refund in Settings → Credits.
Also good to know:
- Jobs priced per second (video recreate, autopilot videos) settle to the actual output duration after rendering, if the result is shorter than estimated, the difference is returned.
- Occasionally an upstream AI model has an outage; generations fail more often during those windows and all credits flow back automatically. If failures persist for more than an hour, ping us in chat.
- If a generation succeeded but the result is unusable (wrong product, broken visuals), message support, we review those case by case and typically refund the credits or regenerate for free.
